Description

The client is seeking a Vice President, Client Care and Experience to provide operational leadership across client-facing programs, including supportive housing, specialized services, complex care, and home care. The role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred services that align with organizational priorities, best practices, and applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements. The Vice President will translate the client care strategy into integrated operational execution, driving consistency, innovation, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.

Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the Vice President will strengthen coordinated care delivery, workforce readiness, service quality, risk preparedness, and system alignment. Responsibilities include strategic leadership, people leadership, innovation and continuous improvement, oversight of service delivery standards and quality/professional practice, operational risk management, and emergency preparedness. The role will also advance client experience standards, support service delivery audit and oversight processes, and provide leadership related to budgeting and forecasting and positioning operations to meet emerging needs across health, housing, and social services environments.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of related experience in progressive leadership roles, including at least five years in senior leadership within a community or health care environment. A Master’s degree in a regulated health or social service profession, education, or an equivalent is expected. The candidate is expected to be currently registered in good standing with a recognized regulatory college (for example, relevant social work, nursing, occupational therapy, or equivalent). Additional qualifications include extensive knowledge of the social and health services field, including trends, community needs, funding and grant sources, regulatory frameworks, and front-line service delivery systems, as well as knowledge of supportive housing, complex care, seniors’ services, personal support services, mental health, substance use, and home care.
