Our client, The University of South Florida, is seeking a Vice President and Chief People Officer to lead the university's people strategy and support its workforce of approximately 16,000 employees. The VP-CPO will focus on creating an environment where faculty and staff can build their careers and contribute to the university's continued success, positioning USF as a destination for top talent. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, this role will provide direction for human resources strategy and operations, with a focus on leadership capability, talent development, and service delivery.The VP-CPO will work to strengthen and align human resources across the university, ensuring that systems, services, and practices meet the needs of a complex and growing institution. With USF celebrating its 70th year and membership in the AAU, the VP-CPO will play a key role in shaping the university's future as a place where employees excel in a rich academic environment. The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader who can drive the university's people strategy during a defining moment in its evolution.
