The client is seeking a Vice President/Chief Advancement Officer to plan, implement, oversee, and assess development efforts that support the organization’s strategic vision and growth. The role reports to the President & Chief Executive Officer as a key member of the leadership team and will represent the organization’s advancement interests with internal and external constituencies while collaborating closely with senior leadership and relevant committees to achieve philanthropic goals and strengthen the case for support.
The client is a nonprofit performing arts organization that provides live performances and music instruction for youth, and operates community engagement programs. It is led by a President and CEO and a Music Director, and serves a broad local audience through a regular season of performances and related activities. The advancement function will help align donor priorities with the organization’s mission, including efforts related to major fundraising initiatives and special events.
