The client is seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial Vice President, Workforce Development and Industry Solutions focused on the food, beverage, and hospitality sectors. The role will shape workforce development strategy and market-facing growth through workforce learning, professional offerings, and employer partnerships, helping strengthen career mobility and workforce readiness across the industry. Reporting responsibilities include leading enterprise direction and serving as a senior external voice to advance thought leadership on the future of work.
Key responsibilities include setting and leading enterprise strategy for workforce growth, building and scaling a portfolio of workforce and professional programs, and driving ecosystem development through partnerships. The Vice President will translate vision into action by developing new offerings, forging high-impact collaborations, and expanding a scalable portfolio of non-degree education and B2B solutions. The role also includes leading go-to-market and growth strategies to drive adoption and revenue, while overseeing operations and delivery to ensure scalable, high-quality program execution.
The Vice President will be expected to ensure financial performance and governance across the portfolio and to build and lead a high-performing team and collaborative culture. Qualifications include a relevant degree and strong alignment with the client’s mission and the food industry. The role typically requires senior leadership experience (including leading teams, P&Ls, and complex operations), proven workforce development and professional education expertise, and demonstrated ability to build cross-sector partnerships.
