CSI is looking for a Vice President of Trade Policy to lead the development and advocacy efforts for the industry's trade agenda. This role involves monitoring and analyzing trade flows of sugar and sugar-containing products, as well as tracking national and international trade policy developments. The Vice President will work closely with the President to develop policy recommendations and advocacy positions, playing a central role in the organization's impact. They will also be responsible for developing and executing trade strategies under key agreements such as USMCA, CPTPP, and CETA, while representing the industry before policymakers and political leaders.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade policy, with experience in strategic leadership and advocacy. They will need to collaborate with allied agri-food organizations in Canada and abroad to advance shared trade interests, while also engaging decision-makers to secure positive outcomes for the sector. The Vice President must have the ability to build networks, foster collaboration, and provide expert advice and evidence-based analysis to shape trade policy outcomes.
