The Vice-President (People & Culture) is a key executive role at the University, reporting directly to the President and Vice-Chancellor. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive people strategy that supports the academic mission and long-term sustainability of the institution. The VP P&C plays a crucial role in shaping the direction of all people-related initiatives, including talent management, culture development, labor relations, total rewards, organizational effectiveness, and workforce transformation, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and external factors.As a core member of the executive leadership team, the VP P&C collaborates closely with the Provost and Executive Vice-President Academic to drive transformative efforts that enhance integration across all administrative and academic HR functions. This includes establishing HR policies, setting risk tolerance, and making decisions that impact faculty, staff, and leadership university-wide. The VP P&C also serves as the principal advisor to the President and executive team on human capital, organizational performance, and culture, while representing the University externally on workforce-related matters to uphold its reputation and employer positioning.
