Our client is looking for a Vice President, Human Resources (VP HR) to play a crucial role in shaping the workforce of a large public sector organization. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the VP HR will be a key member of the Executive Management Committee and Senior Leadership Team, responsible for both strategic and operational aspects of human resources. This individual will lead a diverse workforce of health care professionals, administrators, and support staff, overseeing workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, employee relations, organizational development, labour relations, occupational health and safety, and HR client services.As the most senior HR leader in the organization, the VP HR will drive the implementation of standardized human resources approaches and labour relations methods across the province, working closely with other senior leaders to develop talent acquisition, retention, training, continuing education, professional practice, and performance monitoring strategies. Collaboration with the VP Digital Services and Chief Information Officer will be essential in implementing corporate and employee-facing tools to support these initiatives. In addition to HR responsibilities, the VP HR may also be assigned other portfolios within the organization.
