The Vice President, Finance will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the finance function of our client, a rapidly growing organization with approximately 150 legal entities in Canada and operations in the United States. This role will involve managing financial reporting, operational finance, financial planning and analysis, controls, and process optimization. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strategic leadership and operational involvement in a complex and evolving organizational environment.As a key member of the leadership team, the Vice President, Finance will act as a trusted business partner to the Chief Financial Officer and contribute to company-wide decision-making and finance function transformation initiatives. This role will involve leading transformation and optimization initiatives across various financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury. The Vice President, Finance will also work closely with financial systems and business intelligence teams to support broader organizational initiatives and drive the finance function towards a more efficient and value-added model.
