The Vice-President, Finance and Operations (VPFO) reports to the President and Vice-Chancellor and provides strategic leadership across the University's administrative and operational portfolios, including finance, facilities, information technology, and campus safety. Working closely with the Provost, the VPFO aligns resources with academic priorities and institutional aspirations to support the long-term success of the University and its community. The VPFO plays a critical role in enabling the academic mission of the institution and ensuring that financial and operational decisions are in line with the University's goals.The VPFO will lead the organization through a period of transition and renewal, moving towards integrated, future-focused resource planning and fostering a culture of creativity and sustainability. This leader will work to build trust and collaboration within the organization, encouraging teams to move beyond traditional practices and embrace innovative ways of working that support teaching, research, and community impact. The VPFO will be a key member of the senior leadership team, driving change and guiding the organization towards long-term success and growth.
