the client seeks a Vice President, Behavioral Health to provide executive leadership for behavioral health services across a multi-site health system. This role will help ensure the continued success of related clinical, financial, research, and academic operational components, supporting both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health initiatives and programs.
Reporting to the System COO, the Vice President, Behavioral Health will lead a team of senior and administrative directors to drive strong operating performance. The position will work in collaboration with academic and clinical leadership to support a robust psychiatry education and training environment, including residency and fellowship activities aligned with behavioral health specialties.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of progressively increasing financial and administrative management experience, including 5–7 years of directly related behavioral health leadership at the director level or above. This leader will be expected to manage complex operations, oversee performance across multiple behavioral health functions, and provide strategic, operational direction to support organizational goals.
