The Vice President for Academic Affairs will be responsible for overseeing academic affairs within the Health Sciences Center, serving as the main point of contact for faculty, students, and educational initiatives. They will need to ensure that all academic activities are in line with the institution's transformation goals and be able to build relationships, foster collaboration, and align stakeholders towards common objectives. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can promote academic innovation and operational excellence while also promoting interprofessional education within the organization.In addition to overseeing academic affairs, the VPAA will also be a key advisor to the EVP/CEO for Health Sciences and will act as a liaison to the organization's Central Administration. They will need to engage with faculty and students to promote a culture of academic excellence and collaboration, as well as work towards advancing interprofessional education initiatives.
