The client seeks a Vice Chancellor for Advancement and President of its Foundation to lead institution-wide fundraising and advancement strategy. The role reports to the Chancellor and serves on the Chancellor’s Cabinet, partnering with faculty, staff, and leadership to build connections across constituencies that support fundraising opportunities.
In the president capacity, the Vice Chancellor is responsible for overall foundation oversight, coordinating quarterly meetings, and ensuring the Alumni Board remains engaged as a voice and financial supporter of the university’s work. The position is expected to be an active community leader focused on advancing the university’s strategic interests with prospective donors and highlighting the organization’s history and culture; it will also serve as a key partner in advancing the university’s strategic plan through external partnerships and alumni and donor engagement.
Successful candidates should be accomplished advancement and relationship leaders with a strong ability to engage donors and mobilize alumni and board stakeholders.
