The client is seeking a Director of Human Resources to oversee all aspects of human capital management within the organization. This individual will lead the HR department in developing and executing strategies that support organizational goals, foster employee development, and enhance employee engagement. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director of HR will have the opportunity to build towards their career goals and supervise a direct report if desired. Key responsibilities include strategic HR leadership, employee development and performance management, compensation and benefits administration, HR compliance and employee relations, HR metrics and reporting, and LOA administration.
Qualified candidates for this position will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in nonprofit or human services settings. Experience administering LOAs, PFML, and Workers Compensation benefits is required, along with knowledge of ADA regulations and experience administering accommodation plans. Strong understanding of MA and Federal labor laws, regulations, and best practices is essential, with SHRM-CP or PHR certification strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and influence staff are also important qualities for this role.
