The client is seeking a sales and business development executive responsible for implementing a sales strategy for the United States, under the oversight of the Global Sales Manager based in France. The role will support wholesale distribution and related activities, including animation and management of the US store network, with the objective of driving growth through effective channel execution.
Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining the US sales strategy; organizing and developing the US sales network by consolidating and strengthening existing distributors and sales agents, as well as supporting retail and website channels; prospecting and opening opportunities with new sales partners, including in competitive environments; negotiating sales offers; and monitoring revenue and operational margin across channels on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. The role will also assist with developing and updating distribution and wholesale catalogues.
The position will provide training across US sales points and act as a Brand Ambassador to support distributors, sales agents, and directly managed sales points. It will include daily follow-up and after-sales control, collecting and analyzing sales network feedback on products, pricing, displays, and competitor activity, and developing a testing/free product policy with ongoing follow-up. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong teamwork and motivation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, prior experience in sales development within a high-end beauty, fragrance/perfume, or home décor/luxury context, strong understanding of US distribution channels, strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, solid computer skills, and the ability to travel frequently in the United States; a strong French background and French language ability are considered a plus.
