The client is seeking a high-performing US Sales Executive to help grow a niche fragrance business in department stores and through a network of independent specialty retailers. The role will focus on developing sales performance, expanding distribution, and supporting retail execution across key accounts. The US Sales Director will also be responsible for training and developing retail sales personnel, with an emphasis on strengthening department store sales capabilities and consistency.

The ideal candidate is a sales or business development executive with experience in the beauty industry, ideally fragrances and perfumes, and who can leverage an existing network of US domestic contacts in this field. Responsibilities typically include visiting sales points, recruiting and enabling retail teams, and delivering effective training and development. The client expects strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and excellent presentation and communication abilities to drive performance across a multicultural and international environment.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree minimum, with an MBA as a plus, and approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in beauty (perfumes and fragrances). The role is independent and entrepreneurial, with significant openness to travel and extended working hours (approximately 50% to 75% travel). Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools is expected, and previous experience in recognized fragrance and beauty brands may be beneficial, along with prior titles such as Account Executive, Sales Director, Area Sales Manager, or Regional Sales Manager.
