The client is seeking a US Sales Director to lead business development and drive growth across multiple retail distribution channels. The role focuses on cultivating a “hunter” mindset to expand partnerships and increase sales and profitability within the perfumes and fragrance category, with an emphasis on building strong relationships with key decision makers.

Key responsibilities include generating and implementing sales initiatives, collaborating with internal teams to ensure execution, and strengthening the client’s market presence and brand performance. The US Sales Director will build and expand relationships with major retailers, maintain an ongoing dialogue with decision makers, and advance the client’s reputation as a strong partner through tailored programs and competitive pricing. The role also involves managing sales data and analytics to communicate insights to teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant sales and distribution experience, ideally in beauty, perfumes, or fragrances, along with proven relationships across drugstore and warehouse club accounts. The client expects a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities and translate them into timely plans, a self-starter who can own and drive a P&L while staying within budget constraints, and an ability to collaborate effectively across departments to develop and execute long-term strategies that grow the business.
