the client is an established natural health and beauty brand based in Europe with a network of fully owned stores. in the early stage of developing its US domestic market presence, the client is seeking a senior-level US CEO to finalize the opening of the first few stores that are already underway, build both a store and office team, and continue growing the store network.
the US CEO will be responsible for building and developing the brand across the US domestic market, taking over and designing new shop openings in line with global brand guidelines, and owning key commercial areas including sales, customer relationships, and brand public relations and communications. the role also includes establishing an appropriate product assortment for the US market and supporting e-commerce activities as an extension of existing international e-commerce operations.
the CEO will manage relationships with third-party partners such as logistics providers, landlords, and agencies, and hold full P&L responsibility. core performance work includes analyzing sales results, forecasting to maximize sales and profit, and supervising supply chain activities. requirements include a bachelor’s degree (an MBA may be a plus), extensive senior professional experience with a strong track record in retail network development in the US domestic market, relevant experience in the health and beauty category (preferred), strong presentation and communication skills, strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with MS Excel, and comfort working in multicultural and international environments, with fluency in an additional foreign language considered a plus.
