Description

The client is seeking a Trust Officer for a role with a community bank in the greater Orlando, FL area. The position will provide general investment supervision of trust accounts, maintain contact with existing trust customers, and support the administration of a defined group of trust accounts. The role also supports outreach efforts to solicit and develop new relationships and accounts.

The Trust Officer will supervise an Administrative Assistant and is expected to comply with all information security and cybersecurity policies and procedures. The role focuses on balancing account administration and customer relationship management while contributing to business development activities through effective solicitation and relationship building.

Candidates should have five (5) years of experience administering personal trust accounts or related fiduciary and/or banking experience. Professional designations are preferred, including CFA and CTFA, along with an undergraduate degree in a related field or five (7) years of equivalent combined experience and education; ongoing course work will be required. The client is looking for strong sales and negotiation abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, confidentiality and integrity, the ability to work independently and efficiently with internal partners, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
