The client is seeking a Tribunal Officer for a 6-month contract, fully remote position starting in July/August. The role involves managing appeals from start to finish, including presenting the client's case at hearings and ensuring compliance with SEN/D and the SEND Code of Practice. Responsibilities include drafting responses to appeals, managing a caseload, preparing evidence, and representing the client at final hearings. The officer will also provide advice and liaison with SENAR teams.

To be considered for the role, candidates must have a proven track record as a Tribunal Officer in a local authority setting. Experience with appeal management and a good understanding of SEN/D and the SEND Code of Practice are required. The officer will work closely with business support officers who will assist with preparing bundles for hearings. Interviews will be conducted via Teams starting the week of July 14th, with CVs being reviewed early the following week.

Overall, the role of the SEND Tribunal Officer involves representing the client in Tribunal appeals, ensuring that all appeals are considered and responded to appropriately. The officer will play a key role in managing the client's caseload, preparing evidence, and liaising with witnesses.
