With ambitious plans for growth, innovation, and global influence, The client is seeking an outstanding Treasurer to provide strategic financial leadership within its governance structure.
As Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of Council, the Treasurer will oversee The client’s financial sustainability, investment strategy, treasury activities, and long-term stewardship of resources. Working closely with senior leadership and fellow committee chairs, the Treasurer will help ensure financial resilience while supporting ongoing investment in the academic mission and future ambitions, including guidance on major financial decisions, capital investment, estate development, and institutional sustainability in a complex financial and regulatory environment.
Candidates will bring significant board-level experience and a strong track record of financial leadership within a large and complex organization. They will have excellent judgement, strategic insight, and the credibility to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and they will be motivated by the opportunity to contribute to an institution’s public purpose and long-term impact.
