Description

The Technology Head/Chief is responsible for leading and making strategic decisions related to system-level design and stack-level design, including determining system requirements, architecture, strategies, and the integration concept for mechanical designs. The role involves promoting key technical achievements for systems and providing solutions to technical challenges, reviewing progress, and finalizing solutions. Additionally, the position includes overseeing the requirements, design, and achievement for key components such as bipolar plates and membrane electrode assemblies (MEA), along with having authority over technical specifications, supplier evaluations, and final design decisions for these components. The responsibility extends to ensuring that technical solutions align with overall system goals for performance, reliability, cost-efficiency, and security of the supply chain. The Technology Head/Chief also approves design verification plans and test specifications for stack and system-level products.

Supporting the development process for fuel cell systems and stacks is another crucial responsibility of the position. This includes enhancing the technical team's capabilities and guiding the process of transforming major design activities into documented design manuals and specifications. The leadership role involves setting the technical direction for fuel cell system and stack development, including formulating and executing medium- and long-term strategies, technical roadmaps, and innovation plans for the clients fuel cell technology. The Technology Head/Chief decides on the development direction of core technologies based on market demand, technical trends, and available resources to maintain technical leadership and ensure competitiveness in the market.

The role requires an extensive background in stack and fuel cell system development with over a decade of experience. Candidates should be familiar with performance and durability characteristics of stack and system materials and should understand various technical paths such as co-flow/counter-flow and different plate materials. A strong spirit of challenge, responsibility, excellent collaboration skills, and organizational planning abilities are key attributes. Practical project experience in improving stack reliability, service life, and durability is essential. The individual should possess a deep understanding of the fuel cell industry and be capable of conducting technical route definitions and demand matching to align with customer scenarios.
