The client is seeking an interim Tax Director/Head of Tax to lead tax activities for the UK business within an international organization. The role is based in London and will focus on UK tax responsibilities with some international reach. The Tax Director will report to the business line CFO and manage a team consisting of direct and indirect reports.
Key responsibilities include day-to-day people management and oversight of tax compliance and business tax queries. Over the interim period, the role will emphasize business risk review, a focused approach to customs and indirect tax matters, and support for acquisitions. The Tax Director will engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and effective tax outcomes.
Candidates are expected to have prior Head of Tax experience with people management responsibilities and broad tax coverage across corporate tax, indirect tax, and employment tax. The client seeks someone who is immediately available or can become available very soon and can commit to the duration of the interim assignment.
