Description

Join the client in a Tax Compliance & Reporting role supporting corporate income tax responsibilities across the United States and Canada. You will lead US and Canadian corporate income tax compliance activities, including tax provisions, tax returns, estimated payments, and tax account reconciliations. The position also involves managing cross-border reporting and related requirements such as transfer pricing, BEAT, Pillar Two, and country-by-country reporting.

You will oversee federal, state, provincial, and indirect tax audits, and manage indirect tax compliance including sales and use tax, property tax, and other indirect tax obligations. Responsibilities include indirect tax planning, reporting, audit support, and participation in appeals. You will also identify and execute tax planning opportunities, supporting acquisitions, integrations, reorganizations, and other strategic business initiatives, while evaluating and optimizing tax credits, incentives, and R&D claims and advising leadership on potential tax impacts from legislative developments.

The role includes supporting tax-related financial reporting, disclosures, forecasting, and modeling, while maintaining a SOX-compliant control environment. You are expected to drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies, and lead and develop tax teams across the US and Canada by coaching, mentoring, and building a high-performance tax organization. You will partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and executive leadership, collaborate with teams across North America and internationally, and manage relationships with external advisors and service providers to support growth, risk management, and value creation.
