The client is seeking a seasoned executive to serve as SVP of Global Operations for an electronics and telecommunications manufacturing environment. In this role, you will lead global operations at scale by defining the supply chain, manufacturing, and fulfillment roadmap that supports international expansion and product innovation. You will shape operational strategy in alignment with corporate goals related to cost, quality, and growth, while actively improving performance across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include formulating and driving the global operations strategy; leading global procurement and supplier networks to ensure cost control, quality compliance, and supply continuity; and overseeing manufacturing activities across both in-house and outsourced operations. You will lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), integrating demand forecasting, inventory planning, and operational execution, and guide new product industrialization to support manufacturing readiness, prototyping, and scale-up. The role also involves managing materials reliability, component traceability, and compliance with relevant industry standards; and architecting global logistics and fulfillment strategy, with a focus on international freight optimization and trade compliance.
You will be a key member of the leadership team, translating business goals into scalable operational execution in collaboration with R&D, sales, and finance. The position includes mentoring and managing senior operational leaders and owning operational KPIs tied to margin, inventory turns, cost of goods sold, and operational efficiency. Required qualifications include progressive operations leadership experience in complex, global manufacturing environments (preferably within electronics, telecom, or comparable contexts), demonstrated success improving margin and inventory velocity, strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and supply chain optimization, and financial acumen including operational P&L ownership; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related discipline is also required, with advanced education and international leadership exposure as preferred attributes.
