the client seeks a strategic supply chain leader to guide the company’s supply chain vision, planning, production, and execution. the role will partner with senior leadership to manage asia operations and coordinate with external supplier partners to enhance profitability, optimize inventory strategies, and drive productivity and efficiency across the network. responsibilities span end-to-end supply chain activities, including operations, distribution, delivery, and logistics.
key responsibilities include serving as a business partner and thought leader to senior management, owning asia/indonesia operations, and overseeing an international team covering quality, sourcing, delivery, and logistics. the leader will manage the supply chain from purchase order through delivery, including inventory planning, order fulfillment, shipping, delivery, value-added services, and receiving. they will also manage third-party resources, participate in setting manufacturing and operational direction, and lead continuous improvement efforts that connect strategic planning to daily execution.
the role will develop inventory strategies aligned with customer fill rates and inventory turn goals while preventing supply disruptions, and it will integrate supply chain activities across the organization to support customer service, product availability, and inventory investment. the leader will build and improve external partnerships with customers and suppliers, collaborate with key strategic suppliers on operational advantage, and support e-commerce supply chain and warehouse capabilities for direct-to-consumer operations. qualifications include a completed four-year university degree and extensive proven experience in asia factory management, planning, production, and supply chain functions, along with strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, change leadership, cross-functional partnership skills, and the ability to assess operational situations and deploy resources effectively.
