The client is seeking a Supply Chain and Product Development Director to lead day-to-day operations across its US and Canadian licensees. This role will manage the supply chain that supports these sites and will support equipment development as well as the development of new products and services, with a focus on maintaining quality, standardization, and fulfillment.
Key responsibilities include licensee management and delivering company goals related to quality assurance, cost, growth, site-to-site standardization, fulfillment, and new product introduction. The director will also provide ongoing site support through visits and weekly operations. Supply chain duties include managing inventory positions, purchase order management, reverse logistics to support warranty needs, sourcing strategy, cost and quality management, and supply chain design.
This director will be accountable for the proprietary product processes and the equipment required to support them, including development and support of equipment, related contracts, supplier relationships, and equipment warranty programs. The role will own bringing new products to market in partnership with product engineering and product management, taking products from early concepts through first customer shipment, including prototype development and delivery of pre-production and production products that meet customer quality, cost, and schedule expectations. The director will also hire and build the team, with management positions expected to report directly, and will lead personnel development and strategic planning.
