the client is seeking a Strategy & Operations Director to lead the operational expansion of its Accelerator program across multiple countries, beginning with Dubai. The role will oversee the strategy and day-to-day execution of the program while supporting marketing and expansion efforts for portfolio projects, with a focus on scaling the Accelerator to new regions and establishing country franchises.
Responsibilities include setting up, creating, and managing the Accelerator program operationally; hiring and building a high-performing team to support program delivery; developing and implementing processes and program schemes; and ensuring clear maintenance of program structure, product direction, and the associated digital and social presence. The director will also represent the client at industry events and conferences, develop sales and business development materials, and lead business development efforts to drive growth and pipeline quality, with measurable success across equity/revenue generation, screening of high-quality projects, global branding, and deal value for portfolio companies.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (with an MBA preferred), along with at least five years of experience in the startup accelerator industry, ideally including some blockchain-related experience. The director should demonstrate a clear understanding of accelerator process and business models, a proven track record in creating and managing accelerator programs, and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and lead high-performing teams and apply business acumen and strategic thinking. Willingness to travel and work in multiple countries as needed is expected.
