A client is seeking a Strategic Channel Executive to lead a critical market access and channel expansion initiative within a major wireless carrier ecosystem in North America. This role will support efforts to unlock a prepaid carrier distribution channel and enable broader access across potential retail touchpoints, leveraging strong existing relationships to drive measurable business outcomes. The position is intended for a senior industry insider with executive-level visibility and direct influence on long-term revenue growth through carrier engagement.
In this role, you will lead strategic engagement with corporate leadership to enable vendor approval and channel distribution access, while advising on effective positioning, messaging, and stakeholder engagement strategies. You will provide guidance on internal procurement processes, vendor qualification standards, and decision-making frameworks that govern supplier relationships, and help establish the internal foundation needed to support long-term growth once authorization is secured. Responsibilities also include developing and executing a strategic roadmap for long-term partnership, supporting channel launch planning, and advising executive leadership on carrier engagement strategy and industry dynamics.
To be considered, you should have senior leadership experience within a national wireless carrier organization or a closely aligned telecom ecosystem, along with direct exposure to vendor onboarding, supplier management, device accessories procurement, or channel governance. You should have established relationships with senior wireless carrier decision makers and a demonstrated ability to navigate complex corporate structures and influence high-level business decisions. Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic advisory capabilities are required, with additional preference for experience negotiating national distribution or supply agreements and familiarity with franchise-based retail networks and indirect channel sales models, as well as exposure to the mobile accessories or wireless hardware ecosystem.
