The client is seeking a Senior Compliance & BSA Officer to administer the Bank’s regulatory compliance function. In this role, you will serve in capacities including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Officer and Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACT Act) Officer. You will help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and provide high-level service while adhering to Bank policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include administering regulatory compliance activities; informing senior management of relevant laws and regulatory requirements; developing, drafting, and implementing the compliance program, including policies and procedures; and ensuring staff training is in place based on job functionality. You will assist with investigations of suspicious or fraudulent transactions, submit annual HMDA lending reports, and review marketing materials and advertisements for regulatory compliance.
Additional responsibilities include establishing and monitoring a schedule of compliance reviews, preparing for regulatory compliance examinations, and serving as the Bank’s point of contact during examinations and/or audits. Qualifications include a minimum of 10 years of experience in bank compliance and a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience, with CRCM or CAMS preferred.
