Description

The Senior Director of Employee and Labor Relations will report to the Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Institutional Access and will be a key member of the Human Resources leadership team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a workforce of approximately 2,200 employees represented by eight collective bargaining units, providing expertise in areas such as collective bargaining, contract interpretation, dispute resolution, workplace investigations, policy development, and labor-management partnership. The Senior Director will play a crucial role in guiding the organization through major collective bargaining activities, HR systems modernization, and enhancing HR stability and service excellence.This position requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, build strong relationships with union leaders and campus stakeholders, and proactively address workforce issues with clarity, diplomacy, resilience, and sound judgment. The Senior Director will help strengthen labor relations strategy, enhance organizational capability, improve consistency, and position employee and labor relations as a proactive and trusted partner across the organization.
