the Southern States Field Director ensures smooth and continuous execution of field operations, supervising organizers who work with campus chapters. the position will also expand the organization’s growing cross-movement work, identify and support emerging leaders, and build relationships with organizational allies and partners.
reporting to the Chief Organizing Officer, the Field Director is a core member of the Management Leadership Team and manages staff across three states in collaboration with the Midwest Field Director. the ideal candidate is an accomplished organizer with staff management and training experience, skilled at engaging diverse communities, and able to lead with accountability while thriving in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
