Senior Vice President of Finance for The client, a rapidly expanding, investment-backed professional services organization, as it enters a growth and operational maturity phase. This is a highly visible executive role partnering closely with the CEO, Board, institutional investors, and senior operating leadership to shape enterprise financial strategy, operating discipline, and scalable Finance organization capabilities.
Responsibilities include leading enterprise planning and forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and performance management across a complex, multi-entity organization. The role provides executive-level financial insight to guide growth priorities, capital deployment, operating decisions, and long-range strategy, and leads acquisition finance activities such as due diligence, transaction analysis, financing support, and post-acquisition integration. It also supports improved project economics by partnering with business leaders on backlog, utilization, realization, labor performance, margins, billing, and cash conversion, and translates performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities into actionable recommendations for executive decision-making.
The role will support scalable financial processes, reporting disciplines, controls, and systems, while advancing financial and operational performance through stronger pricing, project budgeting, resource planning, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is expected to have progressive finance and/or accounting experience with significant leadership responsibility, including direct leadership across FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and business performance management. Experience leading finance teams in multi-location and multi-entity environments, strong understanding of project-based professional services financial drivers, meaningful acquisition support experience, and direct experience working with institutional investors are preferred; architecture and engineering project-based experience is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is expected, along with strong executive communication, business judgment, and leadership capability.
