The client seeks a Senior Vice President, Growth to provide direct accountability for network-wide work that drives growth across the entire charter school network. This role sets the vision, goals, and strategy for the growth function, stewarding criteria and readiness frameworks that determine where expansion should happen, shaping the long-term portfolio plan, and ensuring the network grows with rigor grounded in evidence and sustained student outcomes.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the SVP, Growth operates as a senior partner to the Chief Schools Officer and the CEO, setting vision and strategy for the growth function and informing network-level decisions on growth policy and priorities. The position includes defining the vision and ensuring its execution through the growth team, maintaining network-wide strategic accountability, and partnering with senior leaders to make consequential organization-wide decisions. The SVP, Growth also manages one Senior Director of Growth.
Key responsibilities include defining and owning the enterprise-wide growth and scale strategy, including multi-year targets, portfolio priorities, and the conditions required for sustainable expansion; setting the standards for how The client grows as a network; and ensuring scale decisions are equity-centered and evidence-based. The role is expected to hold the network accountable for progress toward growth goals while supporting a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement focused on student outcomes.
