The client is seeking a Senior Vice President and Chief Growth and Strategy Officer to join the executive leadership team and report to the CEO. This role defines and leads a clear, compelling growth and strategy agenda with the aim of supporting significant system expansion over the coming years. The strategy is expected to be regionally and locally sensitive, service area specific, and focused on achieving sustainable growth and strong organizational performance.
Key responsibilities include maximizing financial performance by establishing and executing the health system’s growth strategy aligned to organizational mission, strategic priorities, and financial objectives. The leader will evaluate and recommend strategic investments such as affiliations, joint ventures, acquisitions, and other business development opportunities, and will strengthen the organization’s presence in existing and emerging markets by assessing population needs, market dynamics, competitive positioning, access opportunities, and financial potential. The role will also lead the strategic development and optimization of the ambulatory care network, identifying opportunities to expand locations, services, providers, and access points to create an integrated, market-responsive delivery network.
The Chief Growth and Strategy Officer will provide strong leadership, establish trusting relationships across the organization to promote teamwork and a cohesive system mindset, and serve as a role model for integrity and accountability. The position includes a duty to support the organization’s mission and ethical principles, ensuring the leader upholds the best interests of The client and adheres to high standards of ethical and moral conduct aligned to the organization’s values. The role will further support short- and long-term success by partnering with clinical and operational leaders to grow key clinical service lines and develop strategies for new or expanded services based on market demand, physician capacity, and competitive positioning.
