The Senior Operating Officer (SOO), Psychiatry & Mental Health (Inpatient) will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and play a crucial role in leading the delivery of inpatient psychiatric services across the province. This position is a key leadership role within our client's senior team, responsible for ensuring alignment with the agency's recovery-focused vision and provincial health priorities. The SOO will be tasked with overseeing both strategic and day-to-day operations, including shaping clinical models, managing budgets, leading multidisciplinary teams, and implementing recovery-oriented practices in acute care settings.Working closely with medical leadership and external partners, the SOO will be responsible for translating system-level ambitions into operational excellence and driving integration across the care continuum. This role requires a strong focus on collaboration and communication to ensure the effective delivery of inpatient psychiatric services and the successful implementation of recovery-oriented practices.
