We are offering an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Inclusion Officer on a 6-month interim contract with a Local Authority in the Midlands. This role offers a daily rate of 350, being inside IR35, with an onsite presence required 2-3 days per week. The position involves overseeing the statutory responsibilities for children and young people of school age, which includes handling matters related to Elective Home Education, Children Missing Education, Child Employment and Entertainment, arranging 6th-day provision following Permanent Exclusion, and conducting investigations into irregular school attendance.
As a Senior Inclusion Officer, you will manage a team within the inclusion service to ensure that the educational and wellbeing needs of children and young people are met. Your role will involve leading complex cases to achieve the best outcomes and providing early intervention to prevent future challenges for these children. Additionally, you will work closely with schools, offering support and occasionally challenging their decisions to ensure they meet their educational responsibilities effectively.
