AP7 is experiencing growth in its fixed income portfolio, which is expected to increase significantly as the premium pension system matures. Currently, the fixed income fund amounts to approximately SEK 170 billion, with half invested in green bonds. The portfolio primarily consists of covered bonds, supranational organizations, municipalities, and investment grade credits in Swedish kronor. The role involves developing the portfolio to include trading in more currencies and complex products as the mandate broadens.The position offers independent responsibility for a sub-mandate, involving the entire investment process from idea generation to implementation and follow-up. Working with the fixed income team, you will develop and implement strategies, modernize working methods, processes, risk management, and investment strategies. Communication of market views, scenarios, and risk assessments to colleagues, fund management, and the board is a key aspect of the role, requiring clear and educational presentations in both Swedish and English. Additionally, the position involves representing AP7 internally and externally, including as a spokesperson for the mandate and collaborating closely with the communications function.
