The client is seeking a Senior Director of Strategy & Product Development to lead the brand’s product go-to-market strategy and overall product development. Working as part of the leadership team, the role is expected to define strategic product priorities, drive key strategic initiatives, manage the brand’s product portfolio and new product development, and help lead and build a creative lab while contributing to overall business performance.
Responsibilities include partnering with senior leadership to set and socialize go-to-market strategy and multi-duration measures of success, manage the refinement and communication of product-and-market strategy, and support cross-functional alignment to execute business plans. The role will develop customer segment value propositions, product roadmaps, assortment plans, and go-to-market strategies across markets, operate collaboratively in a cross-functional environment to drive growth across multiple channels, and monitor competitive, industry, and consumer trends to inform strategic and investment priorities.
The Senior Director will lead product marketing planning and execution, including promotion strategy for the client’s products and offerings, and will work with cross-functional teams on messaging, packaging, and product delivery to market. The role will also support sales initiatives and strategic partnership efforts in collaboration with sales and marketing, and will own key aspects of product development across the lifecycle by gathering and prioritizing requirements, defining product vision, building and maintaining development and introduction processes, and leading strategic planning with timetables for evaluating and developing products.
