the client is a global leader in electronic components and advanced connectivity solutions. Based in Singapore, the Senior Director of Sales, Asia Pacific leads the regional sales organization and is responsible for revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion across the APAC region. The role partners closely with global Sales and Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to align regional execution with global strategy while responding to local customer and market dynamics.
Key responsibilities include owning and exceeding regional revenue and growth targets through disciplined sales strategy and execution across APAC, and leading APAC sales activities with a primary focus on large multinational direct customers supported by strategic channel partners. The Senior Director will build and maintain senior-level relationships with key multinational direct customers, identify and develop new business opportunities within priority accounts and regional markets, and shape regional growth strategy using market trends, customer insights, and performance data. The role also represents APAC within the global sales leadership team and contributes insights from key account engagement to enterprise strategy.
The successful applicant is expected to have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. The role typically requires at least 15 years of progressive B2B or industrial sales experience, including senior regional leadership experience, along with a proven track record of delivering consistent revenue growth and exceeding targets in complex, multinational environments. The Senior Director should have strong experience managing large multinational direct customers across APAC, demonstrated ability to lead hybrid sales models spanning direct key accounts and channel/distributor networks, strong commercial acumen including P&L responsibility, exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, and a willingness to travel up to 50% regionally and internationally.
