Description

the client lifecycle leader will develop overarching customer lifecycle strategy, build scalable retention systems, and lead cross-functional execution to improve short-term revenue performance and long-term customer value. The role focuses on owning lifecycle revenue and retention outcomes, using customer behavior insights to create scalable programs with measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities include leading lifecycle marketing as a core revenue channel with accountability for retention, repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value (LTV), contribution margin, and subscriber revenue performance. The leader will develop and execute a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy across onboarding, retention, engagement, and reactivation, and optimize the customer journey from first purchase through repeat purchases and subscription engagement. They will also drive subscription growth through conversion improvements, post-purchase upsell, retention programs, and ongoing engagement strategies, while optimizing subscription economics such as churn reduction and subscriber LTV.

The role also includes managing revenue optimization programs in partnership with cross-functional teams to balance conversion performance with profitability and brand positioning. Responsibilities span lifecycle campaign and automation planning across key customer touchpoints, overseeing testing and performance optimization through experimentation roadmaps, and managing lifecycle marketing platforms and operations with strong segmentation, automation, deliverability, reporting, and compliance practices. The leader is expected to build and manage a high-performing lifecycle marketing team, collaborate closely with Growth, eCommerce, Product, Customer Experience, and Creative, and bring extensive lifecycle marketing and retention-focused experience, including proven ownership of lifecycle revenue, retention, and LTV metrics, plus strong analytical and systems-oriented thinking.
