The client is seeking a highly strategic and operationally minded Senior Director of Finance to serve as the CFO and trusted business partner to the Chief Product & Technology Officer. This role leads the finance organization supporting Digital, Product, Engineering, and Technology organizations, delivering end-to-end financial leadership across a rapidly evolving portfolio of SaaS, cloud, platform, and network-enabled digital services.
The Senior Director of Finance will bring experience in high-growth SaaS environments, with a strong understanding of subscription and consumption-based economics, product investment strategies, and software development lifecycles. Partnering with executive leadership, this leader will own financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and performance management for the Digital portfolio, while leading a high-performing Product Finance organization. The role will also influence decisions related to growth investments, product strategy, resource allocation, capital prioritization, and long-range planning, and will serve as a key member of both Finance and Product leadership teams.
Required qualifications include 10+ years of progressive finance leadership across FP&A, corporate, business, or product finance; experience supporting SaaS or technology-driven businesses; proven ownership of a complex P&L; and experience managing senior finance teams and developing leaders. The candidate should have significant exposure to executive leadership and Board-level discussions, along with a strong command of SaaS models, subscription economics, product development lifecycles, capitalized software development, and cost of delivery and hosting models. Preferred qualifications include prior experience as a finance leader or CFO in SaaS startups, high-growth technology companies, cloud platform businesses, or enterprise software organizations, and experience supporting product, technology, or engineering leadership, with additional preference for background in M&A, integration, digital transformation, and telecommunications or digital platform contexts.
