The client seeks a Senior Director, Project Management and Strategy Operations to support an enterprise-level effort that strengthens leadership alignment, clarity, and momentum across competing priorities. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role blends ownership of critical evergreen work with participation in an organization-wide project management office function, with responsibilities focused on both sustained execution practices and cross-functional project management rigor.
In the evergreen work scope, the Senior Director will design and steward execution practices that connect strategic priorities to day-to-day operations. This includes translating organization-wide initiatives into coordinated workstreams, strengthening cross-functional planning and accountability, and building the operational infrastructure that helps executive leaders make informed decisions in real time. The role also manages one direct report and may involve coordinating with other leaders to ensure large-scale initiatives progress with clarity, coordination, and transparency.
Key responsibilities include stewarding strategic execution rhythms, supporting senior leaders in translating priorities into actionable plans, and maintaining planning frameworks, project management practices, and accountability structures for ongoing initiatives. The position will also support strategic insights by ensuring leaders have a clear view of progress against priorities, and it may include travel to client campuses across the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, with cadence determined by the leadership team.
