Key responsibilities include leading and developing the global engineering and machine development function, ensuring strong technical capability, clear prioritisation, and disciplined execution. The role will partner with senior stakeholders across technology, manufacturing, and operations to align engineering strategy with long-term business objectives, and will drive the evolution and optimisation of manufacturing platforms to meet new technical, formulation, and performance requirements. It also includes establishing and managing external partnerships with equipment manufacturers and technology providers, including technical assessment and capability validation.
The position oversees end-to-end delivery of major engineering initiatives, from concept through industrial deployment, installation, qualification, and operational handover, while ensuring effective transition of solutions into routine manufacturing or commercial operations. It requires maintaining rigorous compliance with internal governance, regulatory, quality, and safety requirements, and defining engineering standards, technical frameworks, and specifications to support scalable and robust manufacturing solutions. The successful applicant will hold a degree in engineering, machinery, or a related technical discipline, with postgraduate education preferred, and will bring extensive senior leadership experience in regulated, high-precision, technology-driven manufacturing, including complex programme leadership, scale-up, technology transfer, and operationalisation.
