The client is seeking a Senior Dean to provide strategic leadership for its academic portfolio across culinary, baking and pastry, beverage, and hospitality disciplines. The role is responsible for advancing academic excellence while supporting a future-focused, market-aligned educational approach that balances tradition with innovation. Working closely with senior academic and executive leaders, the Senior Dean helps ensure programs remain recognized for strong student outcomes and evolving industry relevance.
The Senior Dean will partner with faculty through a shared governance model, uphold the quality of degree programs, and serve as an institutional leader and external spokesperson. The position oversees the deans leading food, beverage, and hospitality programs, and it drives cross-disciplinary collaboration spanning curriculum development, faculty advancement, applied research, and emerging technologies. By coordinating these efforts, the Senior Dean supports long-term growth and leadership across the broader food and hospitality ecosystem.
The Senior Dean will report to the client’s academic executive leadership, including the Vice President of Academic Affairs & Chief Academic Officer, and work alongside the President, Provost, and other senior leadership. The role emphasizes continued industry engagement, thought leadership, and global reputation, with a focus on ensuring academic offerings remain aligned with industry needs and supported by evolving educational practices.
