The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree and be a member in good standing of the California State Bar. They should have at least five years of legal experience, preferably in higher education or a related field. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of issues, including contracts, compliance, risk management, and litigation. They will also assist with policy development, training, and other initiatives to promote legal compliance and minimize risk for the organization.Additionally, the attorney will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address legal issues and provide guidance on complex matters. They will also assist with investigations, negotiations, and other legal matters as needed. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
