The client is seeking a dynamic physician leader to serve as Section Chief of Gynecologic Oncology. This full-time, clinical-track faculty position is at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Section Chief will lead and grow a comprehensive, multidisciplinary program in gynecologic oncology, spanning clinical care, research, and education.
The role will oversee clinical operations, program growth (including volume and market share), faculty recruitment and development, resident education, and research initiatives. The division supports multidisciplinary patient care, including participation in a dedicated tumor board, and strong collaboration with medical oncology, surgical oncology, and dedicated pathology and radiology partners. Division members have access to advanced surgical and oncology services, including robotic surgical technologies, an outpatient infusion suite for chemotherapy, and a radiation therapy center with advanced brachytherapy capabilities.
Applicants should have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree, completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. Board certification in Gynecologic Oncology and eligibility for an unrestricted medical license are required. The client is looking for candidates with a strong academic record, proven leadership and administrative skills, demonstrated scholarly activity, and a commitment to teaching and mentorship, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
