Description

The client is seeking a Sales Director to drive ambitious sales targets and expand the client base while enhancing client satisfaction and supporting overall business growth. The role will focus on building strategic partnerships, delivering excellent customer service, and using best-practice sales methods to develop and execute sales strategies. The Sales Director will also lead and manage the sales function to help the organization meet key performance goals.

Key responsibilities include achieving and exceeding quarterly sales targets, overseeing sales team operations, and recruiting, retaining, and training sales team members. The role will involve leveraging sales practice to identify improvement areas and develop plans to achieve desired outcomes, establishing strategic relationships, and creating opportunities to grow the client base. The Sales Director will monitor market and competitor activity, provide monthly sales reports and feedback to leadership, implement cross-sell and upsell strategies with integrity, and monitor and analyze customer usage to inform sales efforts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in a sales leadership position and at least 5 years in a selling role, along with strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and manage New Sales and Account Managers. Proficiency with CRM and standard business and sales software is required, and experience operating and improving an inbound marketing and sales organization is expected. The candidate should be able to strategize and organize a highly automated sales, marketing, and customer service environment, maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement sales and marketing campaigns; experience in professional beauty is a plus.
