Description

the client is seeking a Sales Director for North America Travel Retail to lead sales efforts across the region and manage a team and territory. The role focuses on developing business through a network of agents and distributors within the duty-free and travel retail market.

The Sales Director will be accountable for creating and executing business strategies to achieve regional sales objectives, including both sell-in and sell-out goals. Responsibilities include providing strategic input for key corporate initiatives, preparing forecasts, implementing action plans, and managing the sales team to drive performance.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (an MBA is a plus), with 5 to 7 years of experience in luxury or consumer goods, particularly across Latin American local markets or travel retail. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, highly proficient in MS Office with strong Excel skills, comfortable working in multicultural and international environments, and demonstrates strong organizational, prioritization, presentation, and communication abilities. Prior experience in relevant luxury or consumer goods brands and prior titles such as Area Sales Manager/Director or Regional Sales Director are appreciated.
