Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and grow sales across North America, supporting its expansion strategy in the US and Canada. In this role, you will guide the sales team, build strong relationships with clients and partners, and help elevate team performance and brand presence through effective go-to-market execution.
You will develop and support sales and marketing activities to broaden and strengthen presence in assigned territories, actively promote international projects, and lead local sales and account managers. Responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and analyzing key performance metrics to ensure targets and KPIs are met; collaborating with internal teams such as HQ, Finance, and Marketing to align operational budgets and promotional efforts; upholding organizational policies and legislative requirements; and contributing to acquiring and developing new business with key partners.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a leadership role with experience in go-to-market strategy, team development, and driving sales outcomes in B2B travel technology, along with networking experience across travel industry stakeholders such as travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs, DMCs, and TMCs. You should have strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, proficiency in English (with other languages a plus), and competency in API integration and technology sales. Business travel may be required for market visits or events, and you will be expected to provide market and competitive analysis, presentations, networking, and comprehensive reporting to support growth, including expansion toward Latin America.
