the client is seeking a Sales Director EMEA to lead and further strengthen its regional commercial organization across Europe. The role will define and execute the commercial strategy for the EMEA region in alignment with global objectives, with a focus on driving sustainable revenue growth. It also supports an important phase of commercial acceleration and organizational development.

Key responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing a geographically dispersed team of direct reports across Europe. The director will manage key account relationships, guide strategic pricing and portfolio positioning, and act as a senior commercial sponsor where required to strengthen partnerships with multinational and regional customers. The role will also oversee distributor strategy and performance across selected markets, while monitoring market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.

The successful applicant will bring proven senior B2B commercial leadership experience in food ingredients or adjacent sectors, along with demonstrated success leading multi-country sales teams across Europe. The role calls for a strategic mindset with hands-on execution leadership, experience managing complex customer environments and value-based selling approaches, and a track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams. Comfort working in an international, matrix-driven organization is expected, with collaboration across marketing, innovation, supply chain, and operations to ensure effective execution and strong commercial governance, forecasting accuracy, and performance management across the region.
